Planning for 2017

We may well be just over half way through the first month of the year, but it’s not too late to get planning if you haven’t done so already!

I’ve started my planning and certainly haven’t finished, but I am loving my new diary and having my paper diary and full year social media planner in the one document.

For the first time I’m using the Passion Planner – it’s a gorgeous aqua colour, has a full year of month to view for my social media planning and a week to view for my day to day planning, as well as loads of tips and inspiration to keep me on track.

Even in this day and age, I am committed to my paper diary and I’m simply not ready to change just yet…

Of course, while I’m ion planning mode, if there is anything you’d like to see or hear or experience – just drop me a line and I’ll see what I can do.

What about you? Paper diary or electronic? Planner or not? Let me know.

Regards

Your 2016 individual tax return

If you haven’t yet completed your 2016 individual tax return, now is the time to get in touch with me.

Once January passes, for some reason the rest of the financial year flies by!

In order to allow enough time for me to get the best result for you, without rushing to meet a last minute deadline, I’d love to hear from you as soon as possible.

If you are an existing client, please collate your usual documents and get them to me as you usually do and if you are a new client, send me an email or get in touch via the Contact page.

It almost seems a little silly to be talking 2016 when we are into 2017, but I don’t mind!

Regards

Cheers to 21 years!

That’s right, the face behind The Tax Chic (ie: me!) has been in the accounting biz for 21 years – hooray!

From my first day on 8th January, 1996 walking into Woolstencroft’s in Alice Springs, to St Kilda Road in Melbourne then out to Balwyn in the suburbs and home to Warrnambool – what a journey this has been?

So many colleagues I’ve worked with, so many clients I’ve helped, and a few clients I’ve learnt lessons from…so many hours of study and continuing professional development, so many kilometres in the car and the air travelling to trainings and appointments, so many memories.

For half of my life I have been an accountant, I think that’s cause for a champers tonight!

Regards

Welcome to 2017!

A small computer glitch sees this post come to you a little late…but that won’t stop me!

Welcome to 2017 – I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and are ready to get back into things.

There have been a few small changes to the website and I’d love for you to pop on over and take a look – www.thetaxchic.com

No doubt we’ll be talking soon.
